(ADD LOCAL VIEWING PARTY VENUE, DATE, TIME AND CONTACT INFO)
The Uhuru Solidarity Movement(USM) calls on white people to pick a side in the struggle of black people for control of their communities, resources and lives by coming out to the most critically important political event of the year. The line has been drawn in the blood of Mike Brown; find out how to stand on the right side of history and with the black community through genuine material solidarity. USM is the organization of white activists under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party, working in the white community to win reparations to African people. This conference will raise resources for the Black Power Blueprint, a visionary project that includes the construction of a new Uhuru House black community center, a Community Commercial Kitchen, a One Africa One Nation Marketplace, black community gardens and more. Chairman Omali Yeshitela, founder of the Uhuru Movement, along with Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee will be the main speakers. This convention, held in the epicenter of the black community’s resistance following the murder of Mike Brown, will show white people that the only future for us is in solidarity with African liberation and we can directly participate through organizing under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party for #whiteReparationsToAfricanPeople!
