REGISTER NOW @ USM2019CONVENTION.EVENTBRITE.COM

The Uhuru Solidarity Movement is an organization of white people created by the African People’s Socialist Party, organizing in the white community for reparations to African people.

The USM 2019 National Convention is the highest meeting body of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement to gain leadership directly from Chairman Omali Yeshitela of the African People’s Socialist Party, Chairwoman Penny Hess of the African People’s Solidarity Committee, and Chair Jesse Nevel of USM.

The weekend program will be packed with presentations, culture, food and discussions on a wide variety of topics and hot issues such as why reparations to the black community is the most progressive stance for white people to take, white LGBTQ solidarity with Black Power, how the environmental crisis is connected to the colonization of Africa, how capitalism is dependent on slavery and resource extraction such as diamonds and coltan from Africa, and of course documenting the fierce resistance from the African working-class fight for liberation and victories of the Black Power Blueprint project in St. Louis, MO.

Two days plus meals: $50.

All Diamonds Are Blood Diamonds
Now! Africa’s Resources in Africa’s Hands!

This event is a call to action for white people to return diamonds and other stolen resources back to African people as a form of reparations. All Diamonds are Blood Diamonds is a national speaking tour by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party.

Long revered as rare, benign gems symbolizing the ideals of beauty and everlasting love, diamonds are the desired gift for engagements, anniversaries, graduations, or simply as an expression of love. Diamonds are thought to be the makings of heirlooms, something to pass down from generation to generation with ever appreciating value.

These myths about the diamond trade, however, couldn’t be further from the truth. This is a look into the reality of diamonds and the real price of this seemingly innocent stone for millions of African people and others who live on the other end of the equation.

Speakers:

Keynote: Bakari Olatunji, member of the African People’s Socialist Party and Uhuru Foods and Market Coordinator

Featured: Jesse Nevel, National Chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement

LIVESTREAM OF: USM Web Show to benefit the Black Power Blueprint- The CIA: The World’s Biggest Drug Dealer

This episode of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement Web Show will expose the history of the CIA’s role in trafficking cocaine into African communities in the United States; how Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the Uhuru Movement exposed this before it was later corroborated by San Jose Mercury News reporter Gary Webb; and how the US “War on Drugs” is a cover for a colonial war against the African population that locks up millions of black men and women in prison to fuel the parasitic capitalist economy.
