Open Meeting to build Art For Reparations Benefit Auction

Are you an artist, maker or musician looking to use your creative skills for social justice to forward the black liberation movement? Do you want to learn how to organize as a team to put on a one-day gallery exhibit, auction, concert and all-around party that raises material resources to working-class African people?

Join this open meeting to help plan the Art For Reparations Benefit Auction for Black Power Blueprint, hosted by the Uhuru Solidarity Movement (USM). The Auction will take place December 16th, at the Warehouse XI in Somerville MA. This meeting on Weds September 5th is an organizing meeting to plan the work of what needs to be done from now til December, perfect for new folks to get involved in the project. There are many volunteer opportunities that we need help with and would love for you to participate and bring your ideas!

USM is an organization of white people created by and under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party. We organize in the white community for reparations to African people.

The Black Power Blueprint is building incredible economic development programs by & for the working-class black community in St Louis, MO such as a venue space, community gardens, a community kitchen and so much more. This meeting is in person but there will also be a call-in number for anyone who wants to participate by phone no matter where you are located.
