From the West Bank to South St Pete: Solidarity with Palestinian and African Liberation

On July 29th, 2015, 6:30pm at Akwaaba Hall, 1245 18th Ave S, join us for a powerful evening of solidarity with the struggles of Africans, Palestinians and oppressed peoples everywhere for self-determination and freedom.

Dezeray Lyn, Tampa based activist will speak on her experiences in the West Bank where she documented the conditions faced by the people of occupied Palestine.

Chairman Omali Yeshitela, the founder and leader of the Uhuru Movement will speak on black liberation and the struggle to free and unite Africa and African people everywhere.

Penny Hess, the Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee will speak on white solidarity with African and Palestinian liberation and the struggle for reparations.

This event will launch the formation of a USM Palestine Solidarity Working Group that will coordinate actions internationally in solidarity with African and Palestinian liberation, recognizing that imperialism is the enemy of all of humanity and must be opposed!
