White people, say NO to the FBI war on Black Liberation!
Register today for the Uhuru Solidarity Movement’s national conference in St. Louis, Missouri, March 11-12, 2023.
In July 2022 the U.S. government carried out the most vicious and serious attack on the Black Liberation Movement since the 1960s.
As part of the counteroffensive, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement is holding a national conference on March 11-12, 2023 in St. Louis, MO to organize white people in defense of the African community’s right to fight for freedom!
On July 29, 2022 the FBI executed a violent, pre-dawn military raid on the home of Chairman Omali Yeshitela, the founder and leader of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) and the Uhuru (“Freedom”) Movement.
Armed federal agents broke down doors with a battering ram, set off flash bang grenades, deployed drones, pointed their assault rifles at the Chairman and Deputy Chair Ona Zené Yeshitela and handcuffed them outside their home in North St. Louis, Missouri.
At the same time, the FBI raided six other homes and offices of Uhuru Movement leaders. Included in this raid was the Uhuru Solidarity Center in South St. Louis, a building owned by the APSP where the Uhuru Solidarity Movement organizes white people to stand in solidarity with Black Power and join the movement for white reparations to the African community.
At 81 years old, Omali Yeshitela has worked for the majority of his life for the liberation of Africa and African people across the globe. Due to his relentless stance the government wants to put Chairman Omali Yeshitela and the Uhuru Movement on trial, using the bogus charge that they are “Russian agents”.
In their indictment of a Russian man accused of “malign foreign influence”, the FBI characterized the Chairman as an “unindicted co-conspirator” along with APSP Agit-Prop Director Akilé Anai, African People’s Solidarity Committee Chairwoman Penny Hess and Uhuru Solidarity Movement Chair Jesse Nevel.
If you are a white person who is ready to stand up and take action for African freedom, register today for the USM National Convention!
Get involved in building a movement to demand an end to the U.S. government’s assaults on the democratic rights of African people to freedom of speech, political expression and assembly in pursuit of their liberation!
Refuse to stand by while the U.S. attempts to imprison and kill Chairman Omali Yeshitela as they did to Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Fred Hampton and many others.
This will not be a repeat of the 1960s. The Party has created the solidarity movement under its leadership to go behind enemy lines and break the isolation imposed on the African Liberation Movement by the U.S. government. We have a role to play; our responsibility is to carry out the principled stance of white solidarity with the African Revolution.
It is time for the millions of white people who marched for justice for George Floyd in 2020 to recommit ourselves to the stand of genuine solidarity with the anti-colonial struggle of African people. We cannot sit on the sidelines. It is time to organize!
For the white community, solidarity with African Liberation is our opportunity to end our complicity with the colonial mode of production, built on the enslavement and oppression of African people, on the stolen land and genocide of the Indigenous people.
We don’t want our ability to access wealth and resources to come at the expense of African people. “Unity through Reparations” is how we join humanity in building a world without oppressor and oppressed, colonizer and colonized.
The USM Convention will feature keynote presentations by Chairman Omali Yeshitela, APSC Chairwoman Penny Hess, USM Chair Jesse Nevel and other Uhuru Movement leaders.
