From the International People's Democratic Uhuru Movement:
In October 2024 the Biden administration announced that U.S. troops are being been deployed to Israel to fight alongside the Israeli military showing the U.S. role as the leader in this brutal colonial assault on the people of Palestine.
The International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement (InPDUM) stands with the national liberation struggle of the Palestinian people against the illegitimate, U.S. backed Israeli settler state. We salute the heroic leader of the Palestinian people who was assassinated this week, Yahya Sinwar who once wrote: “A minute of living with dignity and pride is better than a thousand years of a miserable life under the boots of the occupation.
InPDUM’s unity with the Palestinian struggle is reflected in our platform the Revolutionary National Democratic Program (RNDP). In Point 67 we state: “We stand in unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli white nationalist settler state that functions as a military outpost for U.S. and international white imperialist power." Africans and Palestinians are linked in our struggles for national liberation against the colonial mode of production. It is represented in the late 19th century African Muslim struggle against European colonialism in the Sudan and North Africa. It is represented in the anticolonial movements of the early 20th century which birthed our similarly colored flags of national liberation. It is represented in the unity of the African Revolution of the 1960s with Palestinian Liberation. This is a unity that extends to the present moment.
There are no closer friends to Palestinian and Arab people than African people because ours is one bonded in struggle.
“Gaza, Gaza, Hold the Line! Victory to Palestine!”
