Tuesday, June 12th from 7 to 9 pm EST, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement hosts a live discussion with Gazi Kodzo, Secretary General of the African People’s Socialist Party, and Mads Ambrose, Portland organizer of Uhuru Solidarity Movement, on the role and responsibility of white LGBTQIA people to join in solidarity with the African community’s struggle for Black Power and self-determination.
Penny Hess, Chair of APSC and author of Overturning the Culture of Violence, will also participate in this discussion.
Challenging the historic opportunism of the white-led LGBT movement, the webinar will show the way forward to building principled solidarity based on unity with reparations to African people.
This is a USM-sponsored web event to raise reparations for Black Power Blueprint, a black-led economic development project for African self-determination.
