Chairman Omali Yeshitela offers the Sunday Study each week from 8 to 10 AM EST. In today’s study, the Chairman discusses the significance of the African Socialist International (ASI), and the history of Africans organizing for liberation.
The Chairman explains the difference between Africans struggling for self-determination to overturn their oppression~ as evidenced in the efforts of Marcus Garvey’s work and legacy ~ and simply capitulating to capitalist interests and seeking assimilation w/ the white power structure, as W.E.B. Dubois and Booker T. Washington did.
The African Socialist International (ASI) is the APSP’s revolutionary effort to unite African people everywhere to liberate Africa. The Uhuru Solidarity Movement is the mass organization of white people working under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party (APSP) to go into the white community and raise reparations for Black Star Industries for African liberation and self-determination. Join us at our National Convention this April in St. Pete, Florida, this April 1~2!
