Solidarity With Venezuela: Interview with Venezuela Journalist

This week on Reparations in Action Weekly Radio Show we will be interviewing a journalist from, an independent website produced by individuals who are dedicated to disseminating news and analysis about the current political situation in Venezuela.
We’ll discuss the history of Venezuela, and the political basis of the social programs of the Bolivarian revolution led by Hugo Chavez that fought to uplift the poor in that country, and take control of the oil to benefit the people there.  We’ll  also discuss the U.S. economic, political, and military attack on Venezuela, including  manipulation of the oil market which severely weakened the Venezuelan economy, and has pushed the people to the brink of starvation.
We will play footage of a speech from Chairman Omali Yeshitela given shortly after the death of Hugo Chavez, in which the Chairman discusses the legacy of Chavez and the struggle for socialism in the world today.
