What can white people do to take a stand against the police murders of black people in this country? What is the role and responsibility of white people in the black liberation struggle? Is it enough for a white person to “unlearn racism” and hold a Black Lives Matter sign?
This event hosted by the African People’s Solidarity Committee will address these questions and point the way forward. White people are called on to attend this event and learn how they can work under the leadership of the African People’s Socialist Party to fight for white reparations to African people and “White Solidarity with Black Power”
Guest speaker: Penny Hess, Chair of the African People’s Solidarity Committee, organizer for reparations since 1976, and author ofOverturning the Culture of Violence
