This Sunday, on Reparations in Action, host Jamie Simpson interviews the president of the African National Women’s Organization, Yejide Orunmila, about what the organization she leads is doing to overturn the colonial oppression of African women. We will discuss the rampant police terror against black women freedom fighters like Sandra Bland and expose the opportunism of white feminism especially in the context of the current US electoral process and the campaign of Hillary Clinton. What is the path to liberation and self- determination for colonized women within US borders and abroad?
