U.S. backed mercenaries on the run! Victory to Syria!

The Syrian Arab Republic and its Lebanese ally Hezbollah have increased their resistance against the US-backed mercenaries who have been wreaking havoc in Syria for the past year and a half. Falsely characterized as a Shi’ite vs Sunni civil war by the U.S. imperialist media, this is a western-sponsored imperialist war  in which the U.S., Europe and Israel are trying desperately to stave off economic and political implosion within their own borders. The war in Syria is not a “revolution” or “uprising” as the white left would like us to believe. It is an attempt by the U.S. government to overthrow the government of Bashar al Assad.

The geopolitical strategy is to foment chaos in the Middle East to prevent the continued rise of Iran as a regional superpower. The rise of Iran is a direct threat to the white nationalist colonial settler state of Israel and in turn a threat to U.S. presence in the Middle East.

Israel has continued its decades-long policy of disregarding Syria’s sovereignty, violating Lebanese and Syrian airspace. Israel has occupied the Syrian territory on the Golan Heights since 1981. In fact, Israel’s mere existence as a colonial settler state is a violation of the sovereingty of the Palestinian people.

The state of Israel revealed their fear of defeat by bombing Syria’s corridor on May 5th for what they claimed to be a weapons shipment for Hezbollah. Hezbollah has a proud history of defeating Israeli forces. When Israel invaded Lebanon in 2006, it was Hezbollah that led the Arab resistance and crushed the Israeli occupying forces.

Israel was embarrassed; the supposed greatest military power in the region was ripped apart by a small well-organized militia known as the Party of God. The survival of the U.S. military outpost was in question. More desperate measures had to be taken.

President Bashar Al-Assad has had to face US-backed terrorism on the ground inside Syria. The Free Syrian Army, more specially Al-Nusra, is a death squad disguised as a rebel group roaming around Syria’s country side committing mass murder of Arabs that come from every religious sect. These traitors are a reflection of their barbaric masters. The literally cannibalistic nature of these ragtag “rebels” is an extension of U.S. and European imperialism.

The blatant audacity of the U.S. accusing Syria of using chemical weapons against its own civilian population is a sign that the U.S. and Israel are in serious crisis. On the contrary, there is evidence to suggest that the Free Syrian Army has used chemical weapons on civilians.

The crisis for the West is deepening rapidly. Hezbollah’s support of the Syrian military campaign to retake Qusayr has been a resounding success. The Free Syrian Army is on the run, scattered and severely weakened. Israel is unable to penetrate Syria. Europe is divided on the question of labeling Hezbollah as a terrorist group. Fragmenting of the U.S. ruling class continues as the resistance of not only Arabs, but all oppressed peoples, spreads as if the whirlwind of Marcus Garvey is fanning the blaze of a world uprising of colonized people taking back what is theirs, from Stockholm to Sierra Leone to Damascus to New York City to St. Petersburg, Florida.

It’s time for us as Europeans and North Americans to stop siding with the white ruling class. The U.S. and Israeli governments expect our complicity and support. We have to say, “Not in our name!”

It’s time for white people to join in solidarity with the resistance of Arab, African and other oppressed peoples as they overturn this parasitic system of capitalism, calling for our unity with their struggle!

It’s time to register for the Uhuru Solidarity Movement National Convention, “Overturning the Racial Divide through Solidarity with African Liberation” on June 15-16 in St. Petersburg, FL.
