Watch “African Resistance Now” episode this Sunday: “HANDS OFF VENEZUELA! DEATH TO U.S. IMPERIALISM!”

Sunday, March 10th @ 4PM EST ON INPDUM.ORG: This episode of ‘African Resistance Now’ will occur during a time when U.S. imperialism continues its international campaign of violence and terror on the world’s oppressed peoples – vowing to overthrow any government that dares challenge it.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was a leader of one such government which was engaged in resistance against U.S. imperialism. For this reason the U.S. has always made it clear that it would not rest until the Chavez is dead and the Venezuelan government returns to a position of servitude of U.S. imperialist interests.

Since Chavez was popularly elected U.S. Imperialism has tried to disrupt the Bolivarian project on numerous occasions. It has used coup d’ tats, oil strikes, and their most powerful weapon, the media. They have always failed.

However, on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 Chavez was pronounced dead, after struggling for over a year with a cancer that has mysteriously developed in his system. The Venezuelan government has openly attributed Chavez’ death to the underhanded tactics of none other than Barack Obama and the U.S. imperialist government.

As stated by Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African Socialist International on the death of Chavez, “We recognize that the imperialist vultures will look upon Comrade Chavez’s death as an opportunity to sow mischief. They will escalate their attempts to disrupt the Bolivarian Project that he initiated and that has already changed the character of South American politics and the relationship between the U.S. and those it has historically oppressed in the region.”

INPDUM stands in complete, unflinching unity with the Venezuelan Revolution and calls on the 187million Africans throughout Latin America, and 1 billion Africans around the world, to unite to build one revolutionary organization design to destroy the U.S. imperialist state apparatus which reaks havoc on the lives of our people throughout the world.

As we march toward our international convention scheduled for Sat-Sun, March 23-24, the International Peoples Democratic Uhuru Movement (INPDUM) raises up the right of African and all oppressed peoples to resist U.S. imperialism – the strategic enemy of the world’s oppressed people.
