Eric Oliver, an 18 year old African, is under attack by the state for defending himself and his family from a white lynch mob that came to his house in Bronson, FL. This occurred in the same county as Rosewood, an African community that was burned to the ground by white lynch mobs in the 1920s.
In solidarity with Eric Oliver and the International People’s Democratic Uhuru Movement’s demands to free Eric and drop all the charges against him, the Uhuru Solidarity Movement calls on all of our members and supporters to converge on Bronson, FL this Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 10:00am for the InPDUM-led National March for Justice for Eric Oliver.
The March will begin at 10:00am across from the Levy County Jail at 9150 NE 80th Avenue and will march at 10:30am to the Levy County Courthouse.
Come to Bronson and be a part of history in overturning this “down south justice!”
No more Rosewoods! No more Trayvon Martins!
